CALLALA BEACH

Beautiful Callala Bay is the perfect spot for a relaxing family holiday and home for a large pod of resident dolphins. Located on the Northern Shores of Jervis Bay which is renowned for having some of the sheltered and whitest sand beaches in Australia.  Callala Beach features a long stretch of unspoilt sheltered white sands and clear waters, providing safe swimming and excellent fishing (permit required). Callala Beach is especially popular for families with young children or people who prefer still water swimming. Dolphins are often seen playing just off the white sandy beach or surfing the waves, enjoy is only a short stroll to the beach.

 

 Callala Beach is serviced by a café, general store, pizza parlour, petrol station, post office and Sportsman's Club offering bowling greens, scenic nine-hole golf course and an excellent Chinese/Thai Restaurant.

 

The townships of Callala Bay, Callala Beach and Myola are located on the northern side of beautiful Jervis Bay and are accessed from the Forrest Road. Nowra the major retail and commercial centre is a 15 minute drive.

 

 The historical townships of Berry and Kangaroo Valley are 45 mins drive with attractions such as antiques, boutique shopping, coffee shops, galleries, markets, restaurants and wineries etc. Easy drive too many other interesting venues such as the Air Museum in HMAS Albatross, west of Nowra or Beecroft Peninsula (15mins) for a days outing.
